How does an order on Shirt Flash become a shirt?
Shirt Flash only sells original designs that we’ve created ourselves, and you won’t find these shirts on other sites (or if you do, please contact our lawyer). That being said, we never got around to enrolling in a print making course during college so decided to partner with Spreadshirt to fulfill orders.
We’re pretty picky people, so we wanted to find a partner with equally high standards. Spreadshirt’s patented plot printing technology is highly-regarded in the business for the durability of its designs, and blows away the digital transfers offered on sites like Café Press. Spreadshirt offers quality shirts and excellent customer service.
What does this mean for you? If all goes according to plan, nothing. But working with Spreadshirt means we’ve needed to adopt their guidelines for things like shipping and returns.
What is your return/exchange policy?
The shirts you order are created on demand by Spreadshirt specifically for you. So the good news is you’re special. But because all shirts are custom made, returned items have no value since they cannot be resold. So most sales should be considered final.
Of course, there are exceptions. If Spreadshirt makes a mistake, we will exchange your shirt at no cost to you or refund your money. Please contact us within 30 days if this is the case to ensure we can process the exchange.
If you’ve had a change of heart, well, let us know and we’ll try to as hard as possible to work something out with you.
What payment methods do you accept?
Yes: Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, Paypal
No: Checks, Wire Transfers, Cattle
Where do you ship to and how much does it cost?
We ship all over the world (Antarctica overnight coming in 2012), with rates varying by region.
Standard shipping in the United States runs $4.50 for orders under $50. If your order clears $160, you’ll qualify for free shipping. So make sure to order at least $160 of stuff because the free shipping practically pays for itself. Stay out of this math majors.

When will my order arrive?
Really soon, no matter which shipping method you select.
It takes between 24-48 hours to process and ship an order. Even if you select Standard shipping, delivery can occur within 1 day of processing the order. Bottom line: you’re nearly assured to get your shirts within a week.
If a week just won’t cut it because you need to be ironic for a concert this Friday to impress that girl with pink hair, opt for either 3 Day Select or Next Day Air. But we’re not getting a cut of USPS’s profits (or paying a share of its losses) so we’d recommend sticking with standard barring an urgent need to be awesome sooner.
Can I track my order?
Yep. No matter which shipping method you select, you will receive tracking information to monitor all those weird places that scan the package’s bar code before it arrives at your door. Wash your hands.

What types of shirts do you use?
We use soft, pre-shrunk 100% cotton shirts for all of our designs. These shirts are plain comfortable. Plus, they’re durable. No need for you to limit your wears because you fear for your shirt’s safety each time it enters the washing machine.
What size shirt should I order?
It depends if you’re actually going to lose those 10 pounds. Our shirt sizes run pretty true to “normal” sizes. If you’d like an excuse to measure your torso, take a quick glance at this sizing chart:

Any advice for washing my shirt?
Since all shirts are made with pre-shrunk cotton, don’t count on a George Costanza level of shrinkage. Shirts may shrink the tiniest bit after the first wash though. The printing technology produces highly-durable designs that are best treated with warm wash and low dry, and though our shirts haven’t experienced much fading, conventional wisdom holds you should wash your new shirt separately from the whites especially the first time through.
Can I submit an idea for a shirt design?
We’re completely open to ideas for new shirts and definitely want to hear about any ones you have. If it’s something that might work on Shirt Flash, we’ll get back to you to see if we can work something out.
